“Therapy 3”
Three strikes before they had a three strikes law/
All violent crimes because that’s all he saw/
Stayed out of trouble for the last ten years/
Still can’t get a job because his past charges breed fear/
He never meant to hurt anyone/
But he was always told he’d die young/
Watched beatings and abuse/
Then he was beaten and abused/
Tried to live normal but what’s the use/
Violence begets violence is what he says/
No excuse is the honest truth/
He never had a chance/
Innocents stolen when he was only five/
When a man looks him in the eyes too long-he thinks he has to fight/
When a woman loves him-he can’t tell/
The only love he can receive is from his mother and children/
He can’t stop sleeping with all types of women/
Maybe he’s a Whore!
Or maybe he’s just painfully honest/
He wants to love and be loved-but he’s just too damn modest.
